Our next Seekers Group meeting will be held on November 28, 2016 at 7 PM. All are welcome to join us.
Those who were at our last gathering had asked for a shorter reading before our next meeting. We have chosen pages 43-47 from Parker Palmer’s book Healing the Heart of Democracy (Jossey-Bass, 2011) that outlines his idea of The 5 Habits of the Heart. Although the book is about our political system, the 5 Habits apply to all sorts of groups, including this Seeker’s Group. (Thank you, Randy for finding it.) I will bring some printed copies to Westport Meeting on Sunday morning.
As always, this reading is a suggestion — if it’s useful, use it. If not, don’t. Either way, I hope that many of you will be able to join us on Monday, Nov. 28 at 7pm for our next gathering. (Note we will not be meeting in December.)
