Hello Friends, Our annual Book Fair on Saturday, July 13 is now less than two weeks away! As you know, we have so many books this year that we are renting two additional tents, which requires some special advance planning this year.
We are asking for everyone’s help on two specific days and times:
This coming Sunday, July 7, at 11 AM, we need help with the following:
- Set up the meetinghouse benches.
- Bring priced boxes of children’s books into the meetinghouse.
- Pull out the tent stakes for the tent company.
- Sort out the priced boxes of 6 for $1 and move them to the shed.
The above work should take about one hour, total. We plan to begin this work immediately after worship and postpone refreshments until after the above chores are done! There will be work for everyone! We need people to carry boxes, unload boxes, stack books, help to arrange benches, etc. Family members, friends and neighbors of all ages will be able to help.
